Monday 4thOoctober opening of horror films

In todays lesson we started to look at the openings of some horror films the films we watched were the following: jeepers creeper, jeepers creepers 2 and dead wood. We were watching the openings of these horror films to look for conventions these can be things like the narratives-the plot,the story and what happens. Characters- who is in it. Settings- where it takes place. Iconography- things that have an ionic value. In the openings of some of these horror films the convention used was fake scare thios is when something makes you jump but isnt scary so for example in jeepers creepers 2 when the boy suddenly puts the scarecrow up it makes you jump but isnt scary.
